Ronnie Smith’s Path to MINI CHALLENGE 2025

Ronnie’s return to RCC comes after a successful past collaboration. In 2023, he raced with the team in the Fiesta Junior Championship, securing three wins in the Mk6 class. That success prepared him for the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy, where he impressed in his debut season.

In 2024, Ronnie dominated the Rookie Cup, securing 13 class victories from 21 races. As a result, he finished seventh overall, making him the only first-year driver in the top ten. Now, with more experience, he’s targeting race wins and a title challenge in MINI CHALLENGE 2025.

“I’m excited to be back with Race Car Consultants,” Ronnie said. “We worked well together before, so it made sense to reunite. I know this team will help me push for the title.”

Why Race Car Consultants for MINI CHALLENGE 2025?

RCC is making its MINI CHALLENGE Trophy debut, and signing Ronnie is a clear statement of intent. Since they already have a successful history together, the transition should be seamless.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Ronnie back,” Team Principal David Ellesley said. “He’s always been quick, and now, with more experience, he has the complete package. We are confident he can fight at the front in MINI CHALLENGE 2025.”

Ronnie joins Henry Foote in RCC’s MINI CHALLENGE Trophy lineup. Meanwhile, the team plans to field another driver in the JCW class.

Aiming for MINI CHALLENGE 2025 Success

With a full season under his belt, Ronnie Smith is ready to compete for race wins and the championship. In addition, he continues his partnerships with Astra Security, Southgate Timber, Bright Signs, RM7 Solutions Ltd, and The Motorsport Mentor, while welcoming On Track Marketing as a new supporter.

The 2025 MINI CHALLENGE Trophy kicks off at Snetterton on 12–13 April, where Ronnie and RCC will start their title campaign.
