OTM driver Bertie Bream has officially confirmed his move into the 2026 GT Cup Championship, joining Innovation Racing as part of the team’s second full season in the series.

The announcement marks a major step forward in Bertie’s racing career as he graduates from the Porsche Club GB Boxster Cup into full GT competition. Innovation Racing proved themselves as one of the standout teams in 2025, securing ten GTH class victories and remaining in the title fight through to the final round at Snetterton.

That level of performance and ambition aligns directly with Bertie’s own objectives for the season ahead.

For 2026, Innovation Racing will field two Ginetta G56 cars. Bertie will lead the number 8 entry alongside Esports world champion and GT Cup race winner Luke Bennett.

The move into the Ginetta G56 represents a significant technical step. With increased power, greater aerodynamic performance, and a more demanding race format, the car requires precision, adaptability, and consistency across an entire weekend.

Early testing has already demonstrated the competitiveness of the package, reinforcing confidence within the team ahead of the new season.

Luke Bennett brings proven GT Cup pace into the driver pairing, having secured race wins and broken lap records with Innovation Racing during the 2025 campaign. His transition from Esports to real world competition has been notable, and the collaboration is expected to strengthen both drivers as they push towards front running results.

Innovation Racing’s second Ginetta entry, competing in Group GTH, will feature Sam Branston and James Wareing. The team’s line up reflects a strong emphasis on emerging talent, development, and long term performance.

With momentum from a highly competitive 2025 season, Innovation Racing enters 2026 with a clear objective. The target is straightforward. Compete for the GT Cup Championship win.

For Bertie, 2026 represents progression, responsibility, and opportunity. Moving into GT racing demands maturity and consistency across longer race formats, areas that have been central to his preparation during the off season.

With a competitive car, a proven team structure, and a strong driver pairing, the foundations are in place.

The next chapter begins in GT Cup.
