Add a Business Partner to Your Facebook Page – How to Guide

Managing multiple Facebook pages can be streamlined by granting access to a business partner through Meta Business Suite. If you need to add your business or an external agency to manage a page, follow this step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Find the Facebook Business Manager ID

Before adding a business partner, you’ll need their Business Manager ID. If you have access to the business account, you can find it by:

  1. Logging into Meta Business Suite.
  2. Clicking the Settings (⚙️) icon on the left menu.
  3. Selecting Business Settings.
  4. Scrolling down and clicking Business Info (at the bottom of the left menu).
  5. Locating the Business Manager ID at the top of the page.

If you’re adding On Track Marketing (OTM) as a business partner, ensure you retrieve their Business Manager ID before proceeding.

Step 2: Add the Business Partner to Your Facebook Page

Once you have the Business Manager ID, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite (business.facebook.com).
  2. Click on Settings (⚙️) in the left menu.
  3. Select Business Settings.
  4. Under Accounts, click Pages.
  5. Choose the Facebook Page you want to grant access to (e.g., Edwards & Finn).
  6. Click Assign Partners.
  7. Choose Business ID and enter the Business Manager ID you retrieved earlier.
  8. Select the level of access required (Full Control (Admin) is recommended for management tasks).
  9. Click Next and confirm.

Step 3: Have the Business Partner Accept the Request

Your business partner (e.g., On Track Marketing) will receive a notification in Meta Business Suite. They must:

  1. Log into Meta Business Suite.
  2. Go to Business Settings.
  3. Find the request under Requests.
  4. Click Accept to complete the process.

Alternative: Adding a Business Partner Manually

If the business partner does not use Meta Business Manager, you can grant them admin access directly:

  1. Go to Facebook and navigate to the Page you want to manage.
  2. Click Manage > Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Page Access.
  4. Click Add New.
  5. Search for their Facebook Business Profile or enter their email.
  6. Select Admin Access and click Invite.
  7. They must Accept the invitation in their Facebook settings.

Adding a business partner to your Facebook page allows for seamless collaboration and better management. Whether using Meta Business Suite or the traditional Facebook settings, ensuring the correct level of access is assigned will help maintain security and efficiency.
